There is a lovely kids sculpture walk with different animals to find which is about the right length for 3 year old legs to manage and is also pretty accessible for push chairs. If you are lucky you might spot some red kites souring above you too!
At the end of the circular sculpture walk there is a clearing where forest school lessons take place during the week and there are usually some dens left over to play in.
There is also a visitors centre with loos, baby changing and a basic (and wallet friendly!) cafe for a warming cuppa and cake. They also have a colouring table and some toys along with lots of wildlife information too.
If you go in after your walk they give the kids a sticker for spotting all the sculptures too.
Best of all it is free!
Only gripe is there isn't a huge amount of car parking but we normally manage to squeeze in somewhere.
All in all for an hour or 2 in the fresh air tiring out your twins you could do much worse.
